Program Mission and/or Goals:

The Baton Rouge region faces the difficult challenge of rebuilding our damaged housing infrastructure following the historic 2016 floods. Lessons from previous natural disasters highlight that it is critically important to help residents in navigating this process while still ensuring the long term availability of affordable housing across our community. The Program Development Coordinator will develop and design a program to assist homeowners in navigating the process of rebuilding their home. UREC anticipates a minimum of 20 homeowners to be served by this initiative
