(Baton Rouge, LA) – Baton Rouge area high school students gain hands-on technology experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and design thinking in the 2025 UREC Academy Technology & ACT Prep Institute.

There is no cost to participate in the institute. As an eligibility requirement, all program participants must register for the ACT exam scheduled for July 11 by June 5.
Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC) is hosting the program through partnerships with Southern University, Capital Area United Way, and the Huey & Angelina Wilson Foundation.
