At Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC), our mission is to transform communities by investing in people and restoring neighborhoods. In partnership with the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) and the City of Baker, UREC has been hard at work ensuring affordable housing and supporting homeowners in need.
Through our recent initiative, we rehabilitated the homes of eligible Baker residents facing critical repair needs. Betty Markin, one of our beneficiaries, shares her heartfelt story about how UREC’s efforts repaired her home and restored hope for her family.
Watch Betty’s testimonial and learn how UREC continues to make a difference in our community.
