Hundreds of Louisiana elementary students competed for medals and prizes at the Louisiana Elementary Math Olympiad at Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School in Baton Rouge. We are so proud of our Project STEAM students and staff for participating. Two of our Project STEAM students, Erynn Cormier and Collin Semien, placed in the Top 25 in Olympiad. Project STEAM is named for its focus on science, technology, engineering arts and mathematics (STEAM); the program is a partnership of UREC, the LSU Cain Center, Glen Oaks Park Elementary School and North Banks Middle School.
