(Baton Rouge, LA) – Baton Rouge area high school students are invited to learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business planning, and college readiness skills during the UREC Academy Summer Entrepreneurship & ACT Prep Institute.

There is no cost to participate in the institute. As an eligibility requirement, all program participants must register for the ACT exam scheduled for July 12 by June 6.  

Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC) is hosting the program through partnerships with Southern University, Capital Area United Way, and the Huey & Angelina Wilson Foundation.
