This summer, we’re inviting future homeowners across Baton Rouge to join UREC and Cadence Bank for a free, supportive 4-session course designed to break down barriers and build up your financial readiness.
Sessions will be held on June 26, July 10, July 24, and August 7 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cadence Bank, 6889 Corporate Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA.
Participants will:
- Receive free membership
- Get a detailed credit report review plan
- Have a chance to qualify for a $1,500 UREC Closing Cost Grant
Led by trusted housing professional, Shan King, a mortgage loan officer at Cadence Bank. King will facilitate each session, providing real-world tools, education, and encouragement to help participants reach their homeownership goals—and feel empowered doing it.
