Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC), in partnership with Red River Bank and the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation, will host a 4-session Lock & Key Homebuyer Club from March 2024 – May 2024. The program offers free, in-depth homebuyer counseling, and education to families facing obstacles to home ownership. REGISTER HERE.
Tara Flugence (NMLS #1991656), Banking Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator/Community Lender with Red River Bank will lead the sessions, which will cover topics such as homebuyer readiness, banking and credit, financing, finding a home, and related topics.
Program Offers Access to Down payment Assistance
During this Lock & Key Club session, eligible participants may qualify for a $2,500 closing cost grant from Red River Bank. In addition, upon completion of the program, participants may gain access to $1,500 in down payment assistance from UREC.
Lock & Key Session Dates
The four Lock & Key Club sessions will take place on March 21, April 14, April 18, and May 2 and Goodwood Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd. in Baton Rouge.
Individuals will be admitted into the program on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants will be required to complete an intake process prior to the start of the session. Register HERE.
