Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation will participate in 225GIVES Day on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. This is UREC’s second year participating in the event to raise funds for UREC’s core initiatives in affordable housing, youth development, and community engagement.

UREC President & CEO Carl Dillon said, “As a nonprofit community development organization, UREC relies on the support of community partners and friends, and 225GIVES provides an awesome opportunity to raise funds for our various programs and initiatives.”

All proceeds will benefit UREC’s: College & Career Ready Pre-Law,  IGNITE Entrepreneurship, Certified Nursing Assistant, and CompTIA IT institutes for high school students;  WHIZKIDS! after school programs at Glen Oaks Park Elementary School and Geo Prep Mid-City; and affordable housing and homeownership education programs.
