Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation will host the 2024 UREC Academy Entrepreneurship & ACT Prep Institute from June 29 – Aug. 2, 2024. The institute will take place at Southern University College of Business, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some weekends are required. Visit HERE to register.
Baton Rouge area high school students are invited to apply for the program. During the program, participants will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, develop business pitches, and prepare in a hands-on ACT Prep Bootcamp. All participants must register for the July 13 ACT exam.
There is no cost to participate.
The UREC Academy Entrepreneurship & ACT Prep Institute is offered with support from Huey & Angelina Wilson Foundation, Rotary Club of Baton Rouge Foundation, Inc., Capital Area United Way, Southern University, and New Schools for Baton Rouge.
