Families and future homebuyers looking for in-depth information about the homebuying process are invited to join UREC’s Lock & Key Homebuyers Club. The club offers free membership and 3 months of in-depth homebuyer education in a supportive group environment. Lock & Key Homebuyer Club members will also work to correct credit problems and/or save for a down payment. Individuals will be admitted into the program on a first come first served basis. All participants will be required to complete an intake process prior to the start of the session.
The sessions will cover:
- Assessing Readiness to Buy and Budgeting
- Banking and Credit
- Financing a Home
- Selecting a Home and Loan Closing
- Maintaining Home and Finances
