Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC) will partner with Hancock Whitney to present a Homebuyer Seminar on March 13, 2018. The seminar will take place at Scotlandville Branch Library, 7373 Scenic Highway, Baton Rouge, LA  70807 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Daisy LaGrue, Community Loan Originator with Hancock Whitney, will serve as the guest presenter.

LaGrue has more than 8 years of experience in the mortgage industry, and specializes in first time homebuying, down payment assistance and special programs.  She will present on How to Build Credit to Purchase a New Home during the seminar.

LaGrue said, “My expectation for the seminar is to impart knowledge on the available financing and assistance options that are available to first time homebuyers.  Many people don’t know that these options are available for them. I also want to bust some of the myths as it relates to acquiring wealth in the area of homeownership.  My goal is for people to walk away knowing that homeownership is possible.”
