Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC), in partnership with Hancock Whitney and the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation, will host a  4-session Lock & Key Homebuyer Club from October 2023 – November  2023. The program offers free, in depth homebuyer counseling and education to families facing obstacles to home ownership. REGISTER HERE.

Hancock Whitney Lending Partner Melissa Cobb (NMLS #546211) will facilitate the curriculum, which will address topics such as homebuyer readiness, budgeting, banking and credit, financing, home selection, loan closing, and maintaining a home.

The four Lock & Key Club sessions will take place on Oct. 5, Oct. 19, Nov. 2 and Nov. 16 from 6PM to 8PM at Eden Park Library, 5131 Greenwell Springs Road in Baton Rouge, La.

Upon completion of the program, participants may gain access to $1500 in closing costs; they will also gain access to meaningful giveaways and door prizes during the program.

Individuals will be admitted into the program on a first-come first served basis. All participants will be required to complete an intake process prior to the start of the session.
