At UREC, we believe in supporting professional development opportunities that strengthen our dedicated leadership and staff. Members of UREC’s leadership team recently completed professional training programs that will help leverage our community development work.
Carl Dillon, Director of Operations at UREC, completed the National Development Council’s Economic Development Finance Professional Certification Program™– a comprehensive, four-course series that enhances professionals’ knowledge and abilities in the areas of business credit, real estate finance analysis, loan packaging procedures, negotiating and problem solving skills, and deal structuring techniques.
Sharon Graves, Executive Assistant at UREC, completed the Rising Stars program at LSU. Rising Stars is an interactive three-day program that cultivates professionals for leadership and growth in areas such as: leadership vs. management; image management; conflict resolution; goal setting; and creativity.
Vernard Sterling, Operations Specialist at UREC, received certification for his completion of the Successful On-Site Property Management Course offered by the NeighborWorks Training Institute.
