Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation (UREC), in partnership with Cadence Bank and the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation, will host a  4-session Lock & Key Homebuyer Club from June 2023 – August 2023. The program offers free, in depth homebuyer counseling and education to families facing obstacles to home ownership.

Lock & Key Club is a 4-session commitment that will take place June 29, July 13, July 27 & Aug. 10 from 6PM – 8PM at Cadence Bank, 6889 Corporate Blvd. in Baton Rouge. The sessions will address topics such as homebuyer readiness, budgeting, banking and credit, financing, home selection, loan closing, and maintaining a home.

Upon completion of the program, participants may gain access to $1500 in closing costs; they will also gain access to meaningful giveaways and door prizes during the program.

Individuals will be admitted into the program on a first-come first served basis. All participants will be required to complete an intake process prior to the start of the session.
